Google is starting to use HTTPS as a ranking signal, and the global ranking will significantly exceed unsafe websites.
Security is Google’s top priority. Over the past few years, Google has been pushing the site to adopt HTTPS encryption to move toward a more secure network. Mark the page's HTTP page as "unsafe" in 2017 to help users understand security. Starting in July 2018, with the release of the browser Chrome 68, Chrome will mark all HTTP sites as "Not secure insecure sites."
